DSA Customer Survey 2011
Thank you to everyone who completed the annual DSA survey. The results are now available for you to view here.
We are continually looking for ways to improve our services by dealing with applications more quickly and by getting things right first time. Disabled Student Allowance (DSA) applications tend to take longer to deal with because in many cases we have to obtain needs assessment reports and this adds time to the process.
This years survey results have given us a lot of helpful information; showing the many areas where we are doing well and highlighting several areas where we could do better.
We are currently considering all the responses to see what improvements we can make for session 2012-2013 onwards.
Following feedback from previous surveys we have made improvements in a number of areas such as:
- Simpler and more informative guidance notes and application forms
- An increase in the number of institutions validated in Scotland to carry out needs assessments
- Production of an information booklet specifically for students in receipt of NMPH
