Your support may be different if any of the following apply to you:

• allied health profession
• disabled student
• full time adult education allowance scheme
• going abroad
• lone parent
• medicine or dentistry
• NHS dental bursary scheme
• NHS audiology and biomedical science bursary scheme
• nursing and midwifery
• part time or distance learning
• postgraduate
• previous assistance

All support except the following depends on the level of your income and, if this applies, your parents' or husband's, wife's, civil partner's or partner's income.

• The Disabled Students' Allowance
• Tuition fees in Scotland
• Tuition fee loan outside Scotland
• Non income assessed part of the student loan

We treat the contribution as part of each students' support and we will reduce the amount we pay by the amount of the contribution.
